A broad spectrum Antiseptic Surgical Scrub for topical use in both pre-operative and post-operative skin disinfection. Suitable for a wide range of applications where hygiene is of paramount importance.

Vet-Hands Skin Cleanser Scrub: This preparation contains chlorhexidine gluconate in the form of an alcoholic solution. Chlorhexidine gluconate is an antiseptic effective against a wide range of bacteria, yeasts, some fungi and viruses. It is most active at a neutral or alkaline conditions. Its activity is reduced by the presence of blood or body fluids. It binds strongly to skin, mucosa and other tissues and is therefore poorly absorbed.

4% Chlorhexidine Gluconate in an Amine Oxide Base Passes European (BS EN1276) quantitative suspension test for the evaluation of bactericidal activity of Chemical Disinfectants and Antiseptics used in Food, Industrial, Domestic and Institutional areas. Passes European (BS EN1499) test for the evaluation of bactericidal activity of preoperative Surgical scrubs and Antiseptics used in Hospital, Community medical facilities and in Dental institutions. Mycorbactericidal activity when tested in accordance with BS EN14202. Demonstrated efficacy against MRSA when tested in accordance with BS EN1276.
