This controller allows for very accurate control of any drip set. As most users
know, roller controllers can be very temperamental and flow rates can fluctuate
due to "memory" in the line. The Barber controller allows for very fine variations
without any worries about the rate changing.
Ideal in cases where rate changes are needed regularly.

The stainless steel needles are bevelled and siliconised for smooth and painless venipuncture.
The cannula tubing is made with PTFE, which has a low co-efficient of friction, making it easier to insert and hence reducing
trauma. They also have a high flow rate due to the thin walled catheter, crucial when a patient’s life is at stake.
The foldable groove wings on the Medican with an angular inclining supporting surface results in easy insertion and firm
fixation. Kinking is avoided by the inclination and the wings reduce the
pressure of the hub on the vein, permitting maximum blood flow.
The extra thin walled needle has a hub with a large flashback chamber and a
hydrophobic luer lock plug. This results in a higher flow rate and quick, easy
confirmation of correct vascular access.
The plug also helps avoid blood spillage and prevents formation of bubbles.
